Environmental sustainability and quality of life are the watchwords on which the design of this four-family housing complex, under construction, is based. The plot is on a steeply-sloping area, just outside the city centre of Rende.
The distribution of the 11 villas is in harmony with the natural sloping of the land. They are situated at different levels and angles to each other. The play of gaps and breaks generated by the disposition of the units gives the architecture of the complex a large-scale feel.
Each villa represents a dynamic organism, the floor-plan breaks up in order to adapt perfectly to the site. The steepness of the slope creates different levels of living space, reflecting the layout of the plot.
This apparent "disorder" of spaces, shapes, materials and colours that interact with each other meet all the requirements of comfortable living.
