The complex consists of two buildings: one facing the street in which the Police Station is located and one at the back for the police officers’ residences.

The design concept for both buildings is from the desire to create a blend of form, functionality and aesthetic celebration of the institution of the Carabinieri. The fulcrum of the entire project is the central body which acts as a hinge between the two ends of the building, whose volume is linear and is interrupted by two projecting wings converging towards the centre. Although in an urban setting, the architecture uses the elegant play of solids and voids, of real lines and shadows.

To reflect the unique purpose of this building there has been a careful selection of quality materials for the exterior, and the application of the coating gives the building a recognizable style and personality.
