This project is part of a larger one, the Plan Particoleggiato Emoli-Surdo which aims to create a new central area in the city of Rende. The buildings consist of elements designed as a sequence connected in a spatial continuum. The gradual discovery of the sequence is one of the aims of the project. At the points where the different lines of the walls converge, the geometry of the building overlaps and flexes, creating rotations, intersections and grooves that move the various elements of the facades and determine the outline of the building.
The façade elements are covered with slabs of light travertine and walnut, alternating so as to give prominence to different volumes.
